Applying for Membership
The Torbay Guild of Artists are professional and amateur artists, both 2D & 3D artists, with the sole aim of exhibiting their art in and around Torbay. We guarantee at least one exhibition per year, but usually achieve two or three.
All applications for Membership are carefully considered by each Committee member for a majority anonymous decision before selection for membership is approved.
To apply for membership to the Torbay Guild of Artists please complete and sign the application form (link below), scan/screenshot the form and email it as an attachment to the Membership Secretary at:
membership@torbayguildofartists.com
Alongside the application form you need to submit 6 recent images of your work for consideration by the Committee.
In addition, if you have a website you can also provide a link as an adjunct to the six images you provide in your email.
The images you submit should be representative of the type of work (not necessarily the actual work) you intend to exhibit at our shows. For each image you send, please include the year of completion of each work, the medium used, and the dimensions of the work.
If your application for Membership is accepted, the Guild’s Annual Membership fee is £20.00
Members pay an entry fee for their works to be exhibited dependant on size and type of work submitted, all work submitted must be for sale, and stewarding time is expected.
